In 1977, the Aberdeen & Rockfish still had a 3-way stub switch leading to their enginehouse in Aberdeen, NC. I suppose it's gone now.

In 1972, I saw stub switches on yard tracks on the White Pass & Yukon, but they're long gone (at least in Skagway--I haven't been to Whitehorse since).
