I was a passenger on Metrolink 684. I sat in the last seat on second floor of the last car. I had been listening to music for the whole trip not really paying attention to what was happening. Then we stopped, I pulled my headphones out intime to hear the conductor informing us that our train hit a trespasser. At first I only faced forward tying to process what I had just heard. Then I turned around. I processed really quickly what had happened once I turned the opposite way. I was in full view of a dead body. Seeing a twisted and mangled corpse makes you think about life a lot more. It also makes you realize how precious life is. Ultimately cherish that you are still here and spread joy because you never know when it will be your time. I have nothing but kind things to say about Metrolink 684’s crew and how they handled the situation properly while keeping us informed on the situation.
