Mike Williams and his BG&CM railroad have been working on this for years. Waited so long on
flood repairs they had to get environmental permits but didn't know it and had to stop work on the project. Logs would be transported from Jaype to the Idaho Forest Group mill in East Lewiston and cars can be unloaded right at log deck at mill. Mr. Williams is also involved with the Dakota Southern and got some government money to rehab that line, but work was so slow that government action was required to get the job finished. (D.S. is a state owned track--- so it is a slightly different critter) Anyone know, do Tiger Grants have to be awarded to some sort of government agency??
