The Jaype branch will never ship any logs for the foreseeable future. If the Clarkia reload isn't shipping logs, a re-load at Jaype will not ship either. Logs are going to so many different locations, you cannot ship logs to one location and then re-ship them by truck to another location. The mills are not operating the way they used to. An example, here in Washington, if you are hauling logs, you might haul to as many as six locations in a week. Most log trucks only make two rounds a day because of the length of haul and the different locations according to specie sorts. It is no different in Idaho. ten years ago, the rehabilitation of the Jaype line made sense. Today, it makes no sense.
