OT, but yeah, it looks like some kind of attempt at a single "middle" "truss" configuration.
If that is the case, then it may "should" have connecting beams hidden in the top and bottom which can not be seen. There appear to be no middle uprights though, like you'd see on a typical RR truss bridge. For reasons yet unknown, this pretty long bridge seems to have somehow failed to bear its own load.......

I can't wait for the Nova special on this engineering failure.......
