The two PAs that went to Oregon both got sets of trucks from former Pennsy FM Erie-built B units. The units had somehow survived past retirement and, as I recall, were being used as power plants. The trucks then survived the scrapping of the units and were available when Doyle and his crew came calling.

Both units, for more than a year after being delivered to Albany, Ore. in 2000, had sat on wooden cribbing until the trucks were delivered and installed. I remember taking a picture of the two units after they were put back on their own "twelve feet".
