This from a pamphlet entitled "Winterail: The First 25," handed out at the 2003 show--
The first Winterail was in Dec. 1978 at the Sierra Inn in Sacramento, went to the Holiday Inn in Stockton for Apr. 1980 and Mar. 1981, then was at the Scottish Rite Temple beginning in 1982. Except for Modesto in 1990-91, it has been there ever since.
