Holy Winterail?
The only things "holey" about the event are my socks and shorts!
Us card carrying Never-Missed-A-Winterailers tend to think of the event as something akin to the Willie Nelson Picnic of Railfanning. Friday is always a zoo of dinner reservations for 23 and/or ice cold pizza and flat sodas at the "pre" Show followed by 16 hours of sentence fragments and olfactory assaults on Saturday. I never hold myself accountable for anything said or promised at Winterail UNLESS I've got it in writing (and have no fear, Mister Johnson--I'll be printing that RGZ photo later this week! Honest!)
Come Sunday morning you feel like you've either been hit by a train or slept under one, but one thing is known for sure--you'll be back next year!
Addictions don't get any better than this.
T. Benson--lost in the ozone in Old Molesto...
PS, Steve--anytime you want to part with the F-M plate, let me know!
