Interesting to see that even at that late date the Lark was still a substantial operation: baggage car, RPO, two coaches, Lark Club diner lounge, and three sleepers. Over the next 3 years, the Lark Club would come off, so would the RPO, and the consist would begin running with the sleepers up front. By the end, the Lark was down to just 6 cars most nights: a baggage car, two coaches, two sleepers, and an automat. Sad.
