Went from home in N Oakland via BART to EC Del Norte, GG Transit to San Rafael, SMART to Downtown Santa Rosa to have dinner and hear music w/ a friend one evening last week.
Everything worked smoothly although the bus to train connection in S R is tight.

The 3 car SMART train was not full leaving SR but there were standees after Marin Civic Ctr. The ride was smooth and on time--long dwell at stations indicats padded schedules. There was thorough fare checking--he might as well have punched tix.
If they get busier they will need both more cars and longer platforms

So, easier access to NBay locations for a non driver like me.
