I tried to figure out why your original link didn't work properly, and couldn't figure it out. It "looked" OK to me. Earlier I 'quoted' your message, and when I did a "Preview" prior to finalizing my post, the quoted link then worked, which was a surprise.

When links fail but look OK, it seems to often be related to "space" either before or after the URL. The safest course is to put a link on its own line. If the link is to share a line with text, there needs to be a space character on both ends of the URL (or a carriage return).

If a Preview fails, and I can't puzzle out the error, I delete the link line and reconstruct it.

The best approach is to use the AP "Preview" function before posting. If Preview doesn't show the image, then most likely its not going to work when posted 'live' either.
