All photos at AP must be hosted elsewhere, then a link posted at AP. Depending on how you do it, links can either be "click to see photo" or just display automatically in the thread. Any number of photo hosts can be used, some free, and some not. Flickr works OK. Do NOT choose Photobucket.

My suggestion is to use Postimg.org. Free, and you do not necessarily have to create an account. However, creating a free account allows you to group your submissions together and manage them post-upload.

Once your image is posted to Postimg.org, copy one of the "code" lines that they offer to link to your photo, and paste that link into your Altamont message.
