Don't be ridiculous Hutch. Trump might have been much less than an ideal choice - a hobson's choice really; but this here cool aid is pure California home brew - through and through.
You had damn well better wake up to the fact that it was members of the ruling class of California's only viable political party, that has proposed this fascist law. These people are ravenous tyrannical wolves only pretending to be liberal. But this is hardly the first example of such.
And make no mistake - It will be those same fascist autocrats that will DICTATE what is fact and what is not fact. So how long will it be before more laws are passed, that anyone who dares to contradict them, or those who insist on following their own consciences, will be thrown in prison or forced to bow down to their false gods. Actually, California has already began forcing some people to do that which is against their own consciences - costing them their livelihoods.
History does indeed repeat itself to the unwary!
Better get out now while they still let ya - Before California builds its own sort of wall - a new Berlin Wall - to keep ya'll in.
Given this kind of fascism, I am dam glad I left already. I had to leave to stay near my children, most of whom had to leave during the recent depression in order to find livable wages.
This is really a sad and sorrowful state of affairs. but those who choose to stay had better not forget those once immortal words --- "When in the course of human events. . . . . . . . . ."
