Unfortunately that won’t work and it’s disappointing. Few issues:
1) We don’t know if Tommy is real or not (My guess is he’s real)
2, He never says anything indifferent or derogatory (that’s worth the work of a court order?)
3) Tommy’s post are consistent and about the same grade level or handicap
4) Several regulars have both met and interacted with Tommy both on AP and other locations as indicated from a post search.
5) A litigation hold would require a court order for discovery with a valid complaint and concurrence from the internet provider.
I say this, most importantly because we don’t know which posts are fact or fiction. Is it really advantageous to AP to interact with such dialogue specifically with the distasteful posts about politics and social issues? That being said, again nothing derogatory or defaming ever from a Tommy J post. Personally I like his posts and would hope a railfan would step up to mentor Tommy.
