and today the coastline is littered with abandoned boats used by the “smugglers” and yesterdays tv news had these people on the beach near Santa Barbara absolutely incredulous about finding all this green stuff washed up on the shore. Jeez. Wall? go right ahead and build it but put some of our national guard people in surfer shorts and let them clean up all these abandoned boats or sell them on ebay. And I’ll bet the feminist who wrote the book was a former SP switchperson with a PhD in English from Berkeley— Linda Neimann. I knew her when she was at Newhall and have both her books, signed. She isnt one of my favorite people for some of the stuff she wrote which was clearly libelous, but she gives a good overview of the way things were.
