EMPIRE BUILDER -- NOW A TRY WEEKLY TRAIN?

Apparently due to Amtrak's new operating plan, Empire Builder will be annulled if the weather is not perfect or forecasted to be such. Was annulled at least 3 times last week due to weather (or so they claimed) leaving quite a number of passengers stranded. They have reprogramed their phone system to simply say the train is "cancelled" and doesn't refer you to an agent any more.
