Ahhh, the "GP20CATs." Yes, those are far removed from original appearance, although the sloped nose is kind of a left over signature. I think the sloped nose really makes the EMD spartan cab stand out and look taller on those. I had honestly forgotten BN did the rebuild on those, as they've been with the Twin Cities and Western so long.

The Palmetto Railways (new dba name for the SC Public Railways) GP20s at least kept their original look, but are deturboed. I would say that's not too big of a deal from a preservation standpoint.
