The WP had a cool operation for at least a bit in NWP country. They ran a barge with tank cars over to Sausalito where the Mason Distillery was around MP 8. The distillery piped booze out to the tank cars on the barge through a pipe that went through a culvert under the NWP mainlines. I guess the booze was also being shipped to bottling customers maybe even Seagrams!
