In PE Class at Redwood High in the early 60s, the coach used to make us run from the gym, over to the track that was still left, on a fill. Then we would run east to where the NWP went under 101, then north to Lucky Dr and back to the gym. The area where we had to run was the removed section of double track. Some of the ties were longer and you could see the holes where the 3rd rail had been spiked down.

I want to say North Bay Lumber was at the end of track in Larkspur, north of the Baltimore Park sub-station & interlocking. That was gone in the late 50s I think.
