Having grown up in Murray, Ut., we made an annual pilgrimage to the mines every year. I loved watching the trains from the visitor center high on the mountain looking down into the seemingly bottomless pit. As the CMO of the HVRR from 1999-2004, I had an engineer, Charles (Chic) Neilson who spent his entire carrier at KCC as an engineer there. Great guy. The video inspired me to look him up and see if I can share it with him. Great video. I loved how the narrator became more and more animated to the end of the movie. He is almost screaming the last few lines in the movie.
