A shot I've wanted for a very, very long time. Before the Drone Era, only possible if you stopped on the I-5 Puyallup river bridge. Tacoma Rail job 101 (aka "The Hill job". On site at 7 am, 3hr 45 min later ... Thanks UP! No really! If not for the delay, the conditions would not have been this nice.

In case you don't know.... In order to get to Frederickson, this job has to run north out of the Muni Yard on the Annie leads and then shove back through a transfer yard, bullfrog junction and on to the UP's Fife yard. Where, after the inevitable delay while UP gets one or more trains out the way, this trains shove's briefly on to the siding in Fife and then heads out on the Tacoma Rail High Line, across the river, across the BNSF and UP tracks above CP Reservation, and up to Portland Ave. Here the train needs authority from a BNSF dispatcher to run about 2 miles on the Sound Transit Lakewood Sub. Across the new Sounder Trestle, past Tacoma Dome station and where it can reach the TR Mountain Division and run south to Frederickson.
