Brian, the Safford branch is an on-again, off-again thing constantly. Remember, that was initially announced by IPH, but as we well know G&W is a much more shrewd company and will not just throw money at anything. My honest take on that is as copper prices vary wildly, they are just sitting on their hands until an obvious cash cow presents itself.

Bubba, yes, the Grenada is easy to forget, but's it's still clunking along. The only real traffic is between Batesville and Memphis, and they are still running that. It also seems to be the line where equipment is shuffled when operations east of the Mississippi are shuttered. As long as the Repo Depot doesn't grab the SNC BL2, this is probably where it will go.
