OK, now you are dealing in semantics, as you previously stated that "No problem operating on any UP mainlines.", which is STILL wrong, as previously pointed out, i.e the former MoPac, MKT, and C&NW lines.

OK, stand by it, but it is still incorrect.

The pedestal type tender is the more limiting factor. But, you are forgetting the rigid wheel base of a 4-8-4 with 80" diameter drivers, vs. the rigid wheel base of the 4-8-8-4 with only 68" diameter drive wheels, plus the swinging ability of the front engine and boiler swing-out.
