My point was that while Mr. Spencer is a lawyer by profession and was probably chosen for his position with the BNSF because he is a lawyer, he is not a BNSF Attorney...meaning he isn't legal counsel for BNSF. That is an important distinction.

However, you might be right if he acts as BNSF legal counsel for his job as tribal liaison. I expect him to be quickly dismissed as a BNSF employee and as loudly as the executives feel necessary to distance the company from this character.
