A nice trip to the Oregon Coast Scenic

I made my first visit to the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad for their photographers special last weekend and had a good time. Despite overcast skies the two engines put on a good show for us on this very scenic tourist railroad. In the old days of shooting film, weather like we had would have been deadly, but with the dynamic range and speed of digital my results were ok.

This is my favorite, when the sun was just trying to poke through the overcast Saturday afternoon.
