Years ago, after my sister's BEATER Oldsmobile was recovered, the Phoenix police suggested she buy a steering wheel club, as the visual deterrent was often enough for the street punks to look elsewhere for their next joyride. They are cheap, low maintenance, and often rate an auto insurance di$count !!! Look for the Truck model, as it has a longer arm for the bigger interior.
