I think of it as an unwilling traveler to a foreign land. What Calvin Coolidge said to a close friend not long before he died, "I feel I no longer fit in with these times", really hit home with me and probably Trains management.

I used to enjoy reading old issues of a magazine, not sure of the name but think it might have been Railroader Magazine. I believe it was a mix of true stories and fiction. Starting at a young age I was keenly interested in what things were like before I came along.
