Interesting way to split things up. The timber zone, the coastal wine & hippie zone, and the desert zone. Why would the north and central valley ag counties want to be the tax base for the mountains and desert? Coos Bay Rail Link is more than adequate for the State of Jefferson. Highway 299 and 36 will soon be able to handle all the truck traffic. The only thing the north would need a viable port for is to export dope and trees, and that's always been the case.
