Still has to be approved by the US Congress and that's unlikely. Wouldn't really affect the House but it would end up adding 4 Democratic Senators which Congress won't approve unless someone manages to come up with 4 additional Republican Senators to balance it. Perhaps create Jefferson out of Southern Oregon and Northern Most California and then split Texas in two would be most logical. I wouldn't be making any investments based on this happening.
