Nope. What Santa Fe DID do, however, was to allow Amtrak to continue to use the name "Super Chief" until the level of customer service deteriorated to the point that AT&SF President John Reed took the name "super Chief" back, and refused to allow Amtrak to use it. Thus, we now have the "Southwest Chief".
