Maybe Smart Than should reread my post. I never said there was a break in the grade. Simply the grade is 0.01 less is one half than the other. That is less than 2 feet difference over the whole length of the tunnel.

The grade information comes DIRECTLY from BNSF Track Charts and other BNSF documents. So, is BNSF incorrect about its own tunnel? I doubt it.
