No, Amtrak hasn't said they are going to reroute or have a bus bridge. They have said that they are considering several options if NM can't get it's act together regarding PTC, Railrunner and the line to Colorado. Those are some of the options. This is a negotiation phase. Amtrak wants full commitments for funding and the proper safety upgrades and maintenance.

I like how the article says eastbound passengers will be bused but westbound they can ride all the way through.

I think their Congressman source is probably full of exaggeration and sloppiness.
