There are several runs in W.WA using older 4 axle power, some always have and some have recently started using older power again. Up in Edmonds, you could have seen either the Lynden turn, which goes up the old NP line at Burlington, or the Ferndale turn which goes up the old NP. I believe sometimes there is something like a Vancouver-Everett that runs with junk power too. Along with the rebuilds and GP38's, these sometimes have a bunch of GP60B's thrown in. Lately, the Everett-Longview (former train 601) has been running with all sorts of interesting power. I have seen a standard cab Dash-8 B, GP60M's, B's, SD60M's, SD40-2s and anything else running lately. That train is one of the first to get junk power assigned it seems when things get tight. If it keeps up, the garbage train will probably start running SD60Ms or SD75M's again.
