Shambler it's actually less about "behavior of those on this board" than it is due to a legendary incident captured on video at Hunter's Point almost 20 years ago. A number of "foamers" nearly started a riot because someone got in the way of their shot.

Ever since then, UP has been very careful about letting these "foamers" build up a "head of steam" before a move. UP is following a playbook on how to discourage, disperse, and de-escalate the mindless, instinctive violence of the foamers of the Bay Area when it comes to these moves.
