Good PV’s trailing along on tonight’s starlight 14

The Sands, the Splendor and the Tioga Pass are all attached to northbound starlight #14 just departed Emeryville @ 1041 pm. The railroad world is running right when the private cars are trailing along. The Tioga Pass was the last car with the open rear porch. Splendid! The new president of Amtrak can address so many other issues with the railroad. It is a travesty to systematically starve the paying passengers to cut a chef or two out of the crew. And chase the paying PV cars away. If Amtrak did not own a couple converted cars for the evecutive’s pleasure he may think differently about the PV. My thoughts. Cal-P
