The Heublein plant in Menlo Park closed in mid-2011. It was just east of US 101 (Bayshore), and the Broadway Local went out there fairly often to pick up and set out a tank car or two. Wish someone had gotten photos of those Geeps crossing Bayshore as they passed over the freeway.

Gawd, I miss the SP! Loved their scarlet and grey locomotives. Especially loved their Geeps; they had such a home-y and comforting look and sound.
