UP closed their Salt Lake City locomotive shop in 1998 and moved the remaining servicing, inspections and running repair work to the ex-DRGW Roper shop. The property now belongs to the Utah Transit Authority (or whatever it's called).

Roseville does servicing,inspections and repair work.
