3800 isn't bad a few months in. As to parking, sure, pave over suburbia! The smog contribution of thousands of cold engine starts is not insignificant. Free parking for electrics, charge for gas? If the next wet dream of suburbanites (AVs to continue social cocooning) arrives soon enough, all will be well, right?

Asto the whine about forcing drivers out of their cars, do the math. SOVs take up too much space. The morons in suburban DC are talking about several extra lanes on the Beltway and one feeder freeway; no one has explained where those cars will be able to go on local streets.
