Cool. You paying for it?
Not everyone wants to pay for a train simply for the sake of a train. And not everyone, especially Democrats, want to prop up failing industries just for the sake of it (Do you not remember how Hillary Clinton lost, by ignoring the Rust Belt?) There's a reason trolleys aren't as prevalent as in the past, and simply being a foamer is no justification for building them.
Maybe this will be a great, welcomed wake-up call for cities that ten or fifteen years ago had no problem writing blank checks, to realize that these systems cost money and if they want the trains so bad, they need to cough up the money themselves - not ask for a huge bail out from an increasingly unwilling Uncle Sam.
