The Coast Starlate has been stopping at Salinas for about 80 years. No one seems to realize that Caltrain and the Capitol Corridors are not the same agencies. No one seems to mention the CTC and new sidings that UP who owns. the tracks has been demanding for years. But by gum, we just are gonna spend a buncha bucks to demolish those buildings where we are gonna build a taj mahal transit center ( no plans submitted so far) for all those people who are gonna ride those commuter trains that are gonna come here——- someday.
