Monterey County will be lucky to get any increased passenger service. People do not want it nor Union Pacific. If Union Pacific was to agree to any new service they would stick it to Monterey County and the state of California, good old corporate welfare. Monterey County needs to stick with busses and there gridlock roads. The new transit center in Salinas could be a good start for busses! "Next time take the BUS and leave the driving to us" Go Greyhound…….
