I used to own property in Upper Lake in the early 90's so this is a real bummer. A wonderful place with great weather but for us it was a 200 mile round trip to work on the houses. So after a few years we gave up the rural summer home idea and sold.

Nice summer weather is automatically fire weather? That sucks. I guess we will see a much bigger State standing fire fighting army and airforce financed with some new taxes.
