Sorry state of affairs, but evidence of the triumph of Amazon over brick-and-mortar. I shopped at Orchard years ago and loved it. Reminds me of when a locally owned Mountain View and Sunnyvale lumber-yard company was taken over. I went to ask for something to be cut to a certain measure and the guy couldn't do it. "They took away our saws," he said. It's enough to make you cry.
