I received an e-mail from FRA yesterday that announced release of safety funds, including letters of "no prejudice" to allow folks to incur costs immediately on some of it, releasing millions of the Congressionally appropriated safety funds for PTC projects, including grants for the Coast Line to SLO, SMART, and SCRRA.

So there is no sign that the sky has fallen, as of yet.....
