It's been a "Hobson's Choice" for a very very long time now (decades). And if we stay on the current trajectory - we'll soon enough be choosing between Dumbest and Non-sentient! Corrupt and Corruptest!

But then again - that is probably only a reflection of our own collective selves. We probably deserve it, as a whole. And will continue to do so until we exercise intelligence enough to throw off the name callers, shouters, street mobs, muckrakers, and any other dishonest power mongering partisans; that so thoroughly discourages decent, honest and intelligent people from ever getting involved.

Honestly debating the pros and cons of any issue, to get at the best possible outcome, is all but impossible with these kind of politicians in the forefront. But is IS US who keeps on drinking their cool-aid.
