It stayed in the Oroville Roundhouse a while, under the care of Solano Railcar & Sam Girdler. Shortly after it left, the roundhouse burned down in a dramatic fire. Some historical equipment went with the fire too, but the Flying Scotsman was fortunately gone. Whew!!
