One simple solution to make SMART less dysfunctional would be to provide more parking at stations. It take time to wean people out of there cars and go to all public transit. The bus to train, to bus to work does not appeal to many riders.
Also SMART does think it's a sexy 10. They are arrogant and believe working for them is an honor and a privelege.
