I'm probably preaching to the choir of those who have already visited this place, but my first impression of the place today is railfan paradise. It has the main hotel with a gift shop, bar, and restaurant inside. Three meals a day are served. It has a self-service laundromat. There's a pedestrian bridge over the tracks. They advertise rental cars through Budget, I believe.
Now room rates for 2017-2018:
Empire Builder room: $109-159/night
Great Northern room: $129-179
Empire Builder family suite: $209-259
Family cabins: $169-249
Caboose (4 of these): $169-249
ex-GN F45: $330-409
"luxury railcars"--[not sure what these are!]: $249-299

A bit of a splurge? Yes.

P.S. Tracks are nearby. It's an Amtrak stop.
