2472 was approved long before Ed whined about it, and by
people with more experience, expertise, background and
authority than he will ever have. He simply wants to
be seen as the guy who "got it done" and to have another
cab window to hang out of for the admiring masses.
As to all the "wisdom" being spouted by the unknowing and
uninvolved about the move, it's worth exactly what we pay
for it.
