Brigthline to Las Vegas by 2022

Brightline story on morning news this AM.... Brightline to Las Vegas by 2022....starting construction by next year..... And, develop a major station mixed use complex west of Mandalay Bay.

If we were to finish the High Desert Corridor (a toll funded (possibly privately financed and franchised) freeway corridor, with HSR ROW in the median, from Palmdale to Victorville) by 2026, you could conceivably see a direct LA to LV HSR connection by the 2028 LA Olympics.

Imagine a world where we are still capable of doing these kind of things... a world where we're not all held hostage by the fearmongering and ignorance of the lunatic fringe, ideological extremists, and many of our so-called "leaders" who pander to those elements.
